S 320 CSO: Manual Band Saw with Automatic Head Descent and Variable Speed Inverter

The S 320 CSO is a manual horizontal band saw designed for accurate cutting of steel tubes, profiles, and solid bars in fabrication and maintenance environments. It combines operator-controlled setup with automatic, hydraulically regulated cutting descent, delivering consistent cut quality while maintaining a mechanically simple and durable operating design.

The CSO configuration uses hydraulic control to manage head descent during the cutting phase, while head return to the raised position is performed mechanically by the operator. This approach provides smooth, controlled cutting pressure without the complexity of powered head lift or full automation.

- Manual band saw operation with automatic hydraulic head descent during cutting.
- Mechanical head return maintains simplicity, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
- Variable speed inverter allows blade speed adjustment to suit different materials and profiles.
- Supports straight and miter cutting for common fabrication and maintenance tasks.
- Rigid saw frame and secure vice clamping support consistent cut accuracy.

Operating Cycle:
Cycle start is initiated by the operator after material clamping. Once cutting begins, the machine performs the following operations during each cutting cycle:
1. Closing of the material vice and activation of the blade motor.
2. Cutting head descends under hydraulic control, regulating cutting pressure throughout the cut.
3. The cut is completed and the blade motor stops.
4. The cutting head is returned to the raised position manually.

Cutting Capacities:
- Round Material at 90°: 12.60" (320mm).
- Round Material at 45°: 7.87" (200mm).

- Square Material at 90°: 11.81" × 11.81" (300mm × 300mm).
- Square Material at 45°: 7.87" × 7.87" (200mm × 200mm).

- Rectangular Material at 90°: 11.81" × 7.87" (300mm × 200mm).
- Rectangular Material at 45°: 7.87" × 7.87" (200mm × 200mm).

Key Features:
- Hydraulic-controlled cutting descent ensures smooth, consistent cutting action.
- Mechanical head return reduces system complexity and long-term service requirements.
- Variable speed inverter allows precise blade speed adjustment for different materials.
- Heavy-duty saw frame minimizes vibration during cutting.
- Integrated coolant system supports blade life and surface finish.

Specifications:
- Motor power: 1.8 kW.
- Blade speed: Variable via inverter.
- Blade dimensions: 118.11" × 1.06" × 0.035" (3000mm × 27mm × 0.9mm).
- Overall dimensions: 66.93" × 31.50" × 43.31" (1700mm × 800mm × 1100mm).
- Approximate weight: 838 lbs. (380kg).

Common Uses:
The S 320 CSO is used in fabrication shops, maintenance departments, and industrial environments for cutting steel tubes, profiles, and solid bars. Its combination of manual control, automatic hydraulic descent, and variable blade speed makes it well suited for shops requiring flexibility, durability, and consistent cut quality without full automation.
