STANDARD EQUIPMENT INCLUDED

S-BEND

An integrated S-bend within the machine design allows for the production of more complex parts, making it possible to perform bends at both ends of the press brake with ease and accuracy.

LED LIGHTING

Directional LED lighting illuminates the bending zone and back gauge area, giving operators clear visibility and precision setup conditions at all times. This feature enhances both accuracy and safety in day-to-day operation.

PROMECAM PUNCH CLAMPING SYSTEM

The Promecam-type punch clamping system is equipped with segmented, removable quick-lock flanges that are easily adjusted from the front with accessible screws. The Euro Promecam/WILA configuration, combined with an automatic crowning table, enables rapid die changes without the use of additional tools, minimizing setup time and maximizing productivity.

SLIDING ARMS

he front sliding support arms are mounted on linear recirculating ball bearing guides, ensuring smooth movement and reliable sheet support during bending operations. Each arm is fully adjustable both horizontally and vertically, allowing the operator to position them with precision for optimum handling of the workpiece.

SIDE DOORS

The side doors are designed with an integrated electronic safety control system that continuously monitors door position and provides live feedback to the operator via the CNC screen. Their wide opening angle simplifies punch and die changes, while the steel and methacrylate construction allows operators to safely inspect precision bending operations through a reinforced viewing window.

PRECISION BENDING

For maximum accuracy, the press brake is fitted with a GIVI MISURE high-resolution optical encoder (0.005 mm / 0.0002 in) that monitors and controls the vertical bending axis (Y-axis). By combining this with precise control of the punch lowering speed, the system achieves vertical positioning errors of less than 0.01 mm (0.0004 in), ensuring exceptional repeatability and reliability in every bend.

STRUCTURE

The press brake is built on a high-precision, welded, stress-relieved, and machined steel chassis. This robust design eliminates internal stresses and ensures maximum rigidity, accuracy, and long-term durability — even under continuous heavy-duty use.

SLIDING REAR DOORS

The sliding rear doors are electronically controlled and designed to optimize space around the machine. This configuration reduces the footprint required at the rear while still allowing safe and convenient access to the machine’s interior when needed.

AUTO CNC CROWNING TABLE

The Automatic CNC Crowning Table ensures uniform bending along the entire sheet length by compensating for natural deflection of the press brake during operation. Using precise sensors, advanced control software, and real-time measurement systems, the table automatically adjusts to maintain consistent punch penetration and bend angles across the full working area.

BACK GAUGE

The back gauge is equipped with ESA servo motors and precision BOSCH REXROTH recirculating ball screw guides, allowing automatic positioning of the X and R axes with a precision of 0.05 mm (0.002" in). The Z axis is adjusted manually, with the gauge calipers sliding smoothly along a recirculating ball screw guide. Parallel alignment of the gauge calipers with the press brake punch holder plate is manually set using micrometers for maximum accuracy. A mechanical offset system on the Z axis also allows curvature corrections to eliminate deviations. • High-speed measurement search: 565 mm/sec (22.24" in/sec) • Servo motor output: 1 Nm at 5,000 rpm • Back gauge travel: 600 + 100 mm (23.62" in + 3.94" in)

HYDRAULIC UNIT

The hydraulic system is centralized into a single unit, making it easier to maintain and monitor. Working pressure is always visible on a manometer, and LED indicators show the status of valves and sensors at a glance. It is equipped with a mechanical pressure limiter, an electromagnetic safety valve, and control valves for raising and lowering the punch holder plate. Proportional servo valves automatically adjust pressure and speed during each bend, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. All valves operate at 24 VDC with built-in LED indicators, while inductive position sensors add an extra level of safety control.

LASER SENSOR

The press brake is equipped with a high-frequency laser safety system mounted on a guided track for quick vertical adjustment. The unit can be lifted or removed easily whenever punches or dies need to be changed. The dual laser emitters and receivers are electronically controlled and designed to ignore outside light, so performance is unaffected by shop lighting or sunlight. If anything larger than the programmed sheet thickness enters the laser field, the press brake will stop immediately unless the sensor has been intentionally bypassed. This ensures maximum operator safety during all bending operations. For parts with protruding sections that cannot be formed in the standard way, the operator can temporarily disable the sensor with a front-mounted button. In this mode, the machine automatically runs at low speed to maintain protection. The CNC also controls electronic muting, automatically adjusting the laser’s activation point based on punch size and sheet thickness for precise, reliable safety.

CNC GRAPHICS & BENDING

The CNC control includes advanced software with a bending simulator and optimizer. Operators can create and visualize 2D bending programs directly on the control, while the system automatically calculates the most efficient sequence. This reduces setup time, prevents errors, and ensures consistent results across every part.

MOTORIZED R-AXIS

The vertical R axis of the back gauge is driven by an ESA servo motor to ensure fast, precise positioning. It features high-speed travel of 130 mm/sec (5.12 in/sec), guided by a high-precision recirculating ball screw system. The servo motor delivers 1 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm, with a maximum travel of 150 mm (5.91 in) and a mechanical precision of 0.05 mm (0.002 in), guaranteeing accuracy in every adjustment.

3 YEAR WARRENTY

All Nargesa press brakes are covered by a 3-year warranty that protects against defects in internal components. This warranty applies to essential parts of the machine’s structure, hydraulics, and electronic systems that may fail due to manufacturing defects or faulty materials. The coverage guarantees that defective internal components will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer during the warranty period, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind. It also manages bending sequences by suggesting the most efficient order of operations for each part. The built-in 2D visual bending simulator provides a clear view of sheet positioning at each stage of the process, while the collision detection system continuously monitors for potential interference between the sheet, tooling, and machine frame, ensuring safe and accurate operation. Finally, the ESA S840W software can also be installed on any Windows® PC, offering the same interface as the machine itself. This minimizes training time, as operators can become familiar with the system off the machine, while also allowing for offline programming,

TYPES OF BENDING

The CNC control also provides precise management of different bending methods, including:

Air Bending
– The punch presses the sheet down but does not touch the bottom of the die. The deeper the punch goes, the sharper the angle. This method lets you create many different angles with the same punch and die.

Bottoming
– The punch presses the sheet down but does not touch the bottom of the die. The deeper the punch goes, the sharper the angle. This method lets you create many different angles with the same punch and die.

Stamping
– The punch presses the sheet firmly into the die until the metal takes its exact shape. This method forms precise angles or folds and can also be used to create reinforced sections. It produces strong, repeatable results.

Roll Pressing
– The sheet is bent in a sequence of small steps to create curves. Each bend gradually shapes the material into a smooth radius. This method is ideal for producing rounded or contoured parts.
