The MC550 is an industrial horizontal bending and forming machine designed for shaping flat bar, round bar, square bar, tube, and structural sections where repeatability, accuracy, and production efficiency are required. It represents the transition from manually adjusted machines to controlled production equipment, providing programmable forming capability without the complexity of full CNC automation.
Built around a heavy-duty welded steel frame and a high-capacity electrohydraulic drive system, the MC550 is equipped with Nargesa’s NC control. This allows operators to store and repeat bending operations with consistent results, reducing setup time and operator dependency while maintaining direct visibility and control of the forming process.
- Designed for horizontal bending and forming of profiles and structural sections.
- NC control enables repeatable, programmable bending operations.
- Reduces setup time and variation compared to manual machines.
- Supports higher production efficiency without full CNC complexity.
- Suitable for fabrication shops producing repeat or batch components.
NC Control (MC550):
The MC550 is equipped with Nargesa’s NC control, designed to manage bending operations where consistency and repeatability are required. The NC system controls roller positioning and bending sequence, allowing operators to store bending parameters and recall them for future production runs.
Unlike manual or hydraulic-only machines, the NC control minimizes variation between parts and operators by ensuring each bend follows the same programmed parameters. This is particularly valuable for batch production, repeat jobs, and components requiring multiple bends with consistent radii.
The NC system is intentionally practical and operator-focused. It does not require CNC programming knowledge or complex code generation. Parameters are entered directly at the control panel, allowing fast setup and efficient transition from job preparation to production.
- Stores and recalls bending programs for repeat production.
- Improves consistency across multiple parts and operators.
- Reduces setup time and trial-and-error forming.
- Minimizes scrap caused by manual adjustment variation.
- Ideal for shops that need repeatability without full CNC automation.
