The PC16 is an industrial end wrought iron machine designed for forming decorative spiral and snail-shaped ends on heated material. It is used in ornamental ironwork, architectural fabrication, and decorative metal production where consistent forged-style ends are required for scrolls, panels, gates, railings, and furniture components.
Designed for hot forming applications, the PC16 applies controlled hydraulic force to roll the heated end of round, square, or flat material into uniform decorative shapes. Once the material is brought to forging temperature, the machine enables fast, repeatable production without reliance on manual hammering or traditional blacksmith techniques.
- Designed for forming decorative snail and spiral ends on heated material.
- Supports repeatable production of consistent ornamental components.
- Reduces manual labor compared to traditional forging methods.
- Enables high output for decorative fabrication and production work.
- Suitable for continuous use in ornamental and architectural metal shops.
Working Capabilities:
The PC16 forms decorative ends on heated material only. Material must be brought to proper forging temperature prior to forming. Forming results depend on material temperature, section size, and operator setup.
Capacities:
All capacities are based on properly heated material suitable for hot forming operations.
- Maximum round material capacity: 0.78" (20mm).
- Maximum square material capacity: 0.78" (20mm).
- Maximum flat material capacity: 1.97" × 0.39" (50×10mm).
Operating Performance:
- Working speed: 1.77"/sec (45mm/sec).
- Return speed: 2.76"/sec (70mm/sec).
- Cycle time: Approximately 10 seconds per operation.
- Production rate: Up to 4 pieces per minute, depending on material and setup.
Key Features:
- Hydraulic forming system delivers controlled, repeatable end shaping.
- Adjustable displacement and number of turns for shape consistency.
- Pressure adjustment based on material size and thickness.
- Hydraulic clamping system secures material during forming.
- Dual-hand safety control ensures controlled cycle activation.
Specifications:
- Machine type: End wrought iron forming machine.
- Forming method: Hydraulic hot forming.
- Drive motor: 3 HP (2.2kW).
- Electrical supply: 220 Volt / 1 Phase / 60Hz.
- Overall dimensions: 50" × 25" × 43" (1270×635×1092mm).
- Approximate weight: 690 lbs. (313kg).
Hot Forming Requirement:
The PC16 is designed exclusively for hot forming operations. Material must be heated to proper forging temperature prior to forming. For consistent results and safe operation, the use of a dedicated forging furnace is recommended to ensure uniform material temperature.
Common Uses:
The PC16 is used to produce decorative snail and spiral ends for gates, railings, window grilles, fencing, furniture, and ornamental architectural elements. It is well suited for shops producing repeat decorative components where uniform appearance and production efficiency are required.
Warranty:
Nargesa machines are built for long-term industrial service and are supported by an industry-leading warranty program. Each machine includes a standard 6-month warranty covering defective components. By registering the machine on Nargesa.com, customers extend this coverage to a full 3-year warranty on defective parts. The warranty covers replacement of defective components only and does not include labor, technical assistance, or travel.
System Configuration & Full Quotation:
The PC16 is configured based on material size, decorative profile requirements, and production volume. To ensure proper configuration and accurate pricing, tooling and accessories are quoted as part of a complete machine package.
