The BM25 is a 10-ton hydraulic vertical broaching machine designed for producing internal keyways and slots with consistent tolerance and repeatable accuracy. It is used in maintenance departments, machine shops, and medium-volume production environments where broaching operations must be performed efficiently without tying up CNC machines or manual presses.
Built on a rigid welded steel monoblock frame, the BM25 delivers controlled hydraulic force for broaching keyways in hubs, sprockets, pulleys, gears, and similar components. The vertical configuration provides stable alignment and predictable cutting behavior, ensuring dimensional consistency across repeated operations.
- Designed for internal keyway broaching with consistent tolerance control.
- Hydraulic vertical configuration ensures stable, repeatable cutting force.
- Suitable for maintenance work and medium production runs.
- Fast setup minimizes downtime between operations.
- Can also be used for press-fit assembly and disassembly tasks.
Working Capabilities:
The BM25 performs vertical broaching operations using dedicated broach tooling. Once the broach and shims are installed, the machine executes a controlled cutting stroke, producing accurate keyways without operator-dependent variation.
Broaching Capacity:
All broaching capacities are based on proper tooling selection and material suitability.
- Maximum broaching width: 0.98" (25mm).
- Minimum keyway size: 0.08" (2mm).
- Supported broach standards: ISO JS9 tolerance (tooling dependent).
Operating Performance:
- Working speed: 1.00"/sec (25mm/sec).
- Return speed: 2.20"/sec (56mm/sec).
- Typical cycle time: Approximately 10 seconds per broaching operation.
- Suitable for repeat operations with consistent results.
Key Features:
- 10-ton hydraulic system delivers controlled, consistent broaching force.
- Rigid welded and machined monoblock frame resists deflection under load.
- Adjustable stroke and pressure accommodate different broach sizes.
- Hydraulic clamping system secures parts during the broaching cycle.
- Dual-hand safety controls ensure controlled cycle activation.

Optional Broaching Tooling:
The BM25 uses dedicated internal broach tooling supplied separately. Broaches are available in inch and metric sizes and are manufactured to ISO JS9 tolerance. Each broach set includes precision shims to achieve the required final dimension.
Optional broaches are available in sizes from 2mm through 25mm, with multiple broach lengths and profiles to match hole diameter and cutting depth requirements. Tooling selection is based on application, material, and required tolerance.
Common Uses:
The BM25 is used for broaching internal keyways in hubs, sprockets, pulleys, gears, and similar components. It is also commonly used for press-fit assembly and disassembly tasks in maintenance and repair environments where controlled hydraulic force is required.
Warranty:
Nargesa machines are built for long-term industrial service and are supported by an industry-leading warranty program. Each machine includes a standard 6-month warranty covering defective components. By registering the machine on Nargesa.com, customers extend this coverage to a full 3-year warranty on defective parts. The warranty covers replacement of defective components only and does not include labor, technical assistance, or travel.
System Configuration & Full Quotation:
The BM25 is configured based on required keyway sizes, production volume, and tooling selection. Broaching tools and accessories are quoted separately to ensure proper application fit. To request a full quotation and application review, call (704) 703-9400 or email Sales@QuantumMachinery.com.
